ST. MICHAELS ART LEAGUE – LABOR DAY SHOW AND SALE 2026
St. Luke’s Methodist Church, 304 S. Talbot Street, St. Michaels
Saturday, September 5, 2026 – 10 am – 5 pm
Sunday, September 6, 2026 – 11 am – 5 pm
Not to be missed is the annual outdoor Labor Day Art Show Under the Tent front and
center on Talbot St. where visitors can peruse over 300 original paintings by art league
member artists. This annual event draws visitors year after year who are looking for that
special something to take home or, to just view the outstanding artwork on display.
Artist Dates:
Friday September 4 – Time to be determined Volunteers set up panels
Saturday, September 5 – 9 am Artists hang/display work
Saturday, September 5 – 10 am – 5 pm Sale open to public
Saturday, September 5 – 5 pm Store artwork in St. Luke’s Church
Sunday, September 6 – 10:30 am (not before) Artists hang/display work
Sunday, September 6 – 11 am – 5 pm Sale open to public
Sunday, September 6 – 5 pm Artists remove art and panels, and help to clear the area
Join members of the St. Michaels Art League (SMAL) for their biggest event, the annual “Under the Tent” Labor Day Weekend Show and Sale on Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6 at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, located at 304 South Talbot Street in St. Michaels. It is free and open to the public. Show hours are 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday.
Artwork by more than 30 SMAL artists in multiple mediums is featured. Hundreds of works depicting local scenes and subjects are for sale. This is the perfect opportunity to purchase original artwork by many award-winning SMAL artists. Invite your friends to come meet the artists and find out more about the St. Michaels Art League and its activities.
Many of the framed designs for the “Celebrate St. Michaels” banners that hang on Talbot Street will be for sale, as well as original street banners from previous years.
