Landscape and people provided Katie with the inspiration for her pastel paintings. Cassidy frequently references the influences of Edouard Manet, Mary Cassatt, and Joachin Sorolla in her artwork, and has travelled extensively to places like Ireland, France, and the American Southwest, where the land and people bring constant freshness to her art.
