SMAL is pleased to announce the winners of our 4th annual Photography Show!

Emily Carter MItchell, an award winning nature and wildlife photographer based in Annapolis, served as the judge for the show.  She  was impressed with the variety and quality of the photography we presented.  She reviewed the work using a matrix that included point for technical excellence, visual impact, compositional design, unique subject matter and finally, presentation. A complete juror’s statement can be viewed here.

First place went to Louise Peardon for her photo “The Red Bucket,” second to George Sass for “Morning in the Adirondacks,” and third to Ted Mueller for “Needs a Lightbulb.” Honorable mentions also went to Jeff McGuiness, Ted Mueller and Sharon Thorpe. Congratulations to all and thanks to all the shutterbugs for participating!
